The Environmental Law Certificate program is designed for students who are interested in learning about the legal aspects of environmental regulation and protection. The program provides students with a foundational knowledge of environmental law and policy, coupled with a more advanced understanding of topics such as water resource management, pollution control, and other areas of environmental law. Students pursuing the certificate will take lower division courses that cover essential concepts in law and policy, including the legal frameworks and ethical considerations involved. The upper division course will then focus specifically on environmental law and its practical applications.
