The Water Studies certificate prepares students to be professionals in the water sector. By taking courses in GIS, water science, and water policy, students gain interdisciplinary experience and develop a holistic view of water management.

Students who earn this certificate are eligible to achieve the externally granted River Studies & Leadership Certificate (RSLC) through the River Management Society (RMS). By completing additional professional experience components, Water Studies Certificate recipients can simultaneously earn the RMS accreditation. Students should consult with the RSLC coordinator to register and devise a plan for completion.
